On Hiatus!

For a little while. I miss my sewing terribly but...

...I would like to plant my little garden. My house is in disarray. My kids' activities and my LL involvement is killing any free time I have. My walls and ceiling desparately need to be painted. The lawn always needs to be mowed.

Therefore, my sewing and blogging is on hiatus. I'll be back in a few weeks but will keep up with my sewing buddies via Bloglines.

Everyone else, have fun sewing!

I thoroughly understand. I have "piles" of stuff everywhere in our house that need to be removed or re-organized. I also need to "help" with the gardening. My DH is a horticulturist/plant specialist...so we have lots of gardens to tend to on our property. We're suppose to convert one of our gardens into a vegetable garden...and so I do need to balance my sewing time and gardening. Enjoy your hiatus and I look forward to your return. :)

Work hard, get the garden in, love the kids. Sewing will wait, kids grow so darn fast! I think some of us (me included) need to take a page from your book! Take care.

Good luck with your other pursuits. I know how you feel. I've been overwhelmed by all my "mommy" responsiblities lately!

You've been sewing like a demon these past few months, you deserve a break. Enjoy your hiatus, spend loads of time with the kids, dig in your garden - almost as therapeutic as sewing - and come back rested and full of new projects.

I truly understand. Just yesterday I was looking around my place noticing the "serious" housework needed. Like: washing the windows and binds. I'm planning a mini hiatus soon.

In the meantime, enjoy

Girl, that's what I just finised doing the last two months while recovering from foot surgery. You'll feel so much better when it's done and you can take some time to breath and then blog. See you soon.
