That's NOT my style!

Once upon a time, when I was pregnant and/or breastfeeding, (what was that...between 25 and 40 LOL???), I'd wear the baggy, shapeless shirts and think nothing of it. I'm happy to say I'm out of that stage and getting in the groove of things.

So what's a girl to do when a friend gives her a coach's shirt in a Men's Size XL? REVAMP IT!!! I spent an hour last night, and 1 1/2 hours this morning changing it to something suitable. The only other thing I added this afternoon that you don't see in the pic are hot-fix crystals added to the front neckline. Can't let go of my inner '80's, ya know. ETA...I think I might take in those side seams a bit. It could use a slimmer front/back profile. And the skirt? That's the one I whipped up last week and think it could be pegged another half inch at the side seams.

So...what have I accomplished the last three weeks? The muslin panties are done. The muslin bra is almost done--still have to attach the straps. Muslin swimsuit is done. The revamp coach's shirt is done. What arrived in the mail? Bra supplies and bra/panty fabric in lime green and royal blue.

Where's the time? It's oh-so-busy! I have an unexpected tournament I have to go to this weekend, and I'm not too happy about it. The first time in several years that the 4th of July is on a Saturday. It wouldn't matter to me if it was scheduled months in advance, but this was a last minute schedule change. Oh well, I'll stay at my brother's house and get through it. I really hate to be driving so much on the biggest drinking holiday of the year.

Hopefully, you all will get more sewing done that I will.

Great restyle Kat! Sorry your 4th plans got derailed...so did mine. I found out Friday that my work schedule has changed and I'm working a double shift! I get off at 9:15, so hopefully the drunks will still be enjoying the fireworks and not driving til I make it home!

You have been busy. You are so right. I've done the baggy thing and still do everynow and then, and it's always the times when I run into someone I haven't seen in forever and then feel like crap! LOL. Just make sure you do what you have to do and get home. :0)
